What is a Sugar Scrub?

Sugar scrubs are any physical exfoliators that utilize sugar crystals in their formulas to remove dead skin cells that may be obscuring fresh, healthy skin cells beneath. Sugar scrubs are well-known for their ability to be gentle on skin, with smaller particles and no natural acidity that could cause irritation.

How often should you exfoliate?

2 to 3 times a week generally offers a safe starting point. You can exfoliate more frequently if your skin tolerates it well.

What is the difference between store bought Body Scrubs (made with Salt) & Sugar Scrubs? 

Sugar scrubs have smaller granules than salt, and are best suited for sensitive skin.
